My LA City Thursday night mens upper division team won our league championship game yesterday.

Game one vs The Undertakers
Big hitting performance carries From Rags To Riches past The Undertakers 24-9

RJ hit two home runs to carry From Rags To Riches to a 24-9 win over The Undertakers in six innings.

RJ racked up six RBIs on three hits for From Rags To Riches. He doubled in the second inning and homered in the fourth and fifth innings.

The two teams combined for 33 runs and 44 hits, including 20 extra base hits.

From Rags To Riches beat The Undertakers thanks to 28 hits, including 11 extra base hits. From Rags To Riches scored nine runs in the fifth on From Rags To Riches scored in the fifth on an RBI single by Sean Scissors, an RBI double by Willie Ebersol, a two-run single by Dan Mattioli, a three-run home run by Sergio Salup, a solo home run by RJ, and an RBI double by Andy Lauwasser.

From Rags To Riches easily handled The Undertakers pitching as nine hitters combined for 26 hits, 24 RBIs and 21 runs scored.

Additional home runs for From Rags To Riches came when Austin Passy homered in the first inning, Mattioli homered in the second inning, RJ homered in the fourth and fifth innings, and Jon Poulin homered in the sixth inning.

The bottom of the first saw From Rags To Riches take an early lead, 3-0. Salup started the rally for From Rags To Riches with a single. A single by Poulin then moved Salup from first to second. Passy homered, scoring Salup and Poulin.

From Rags To Riches never trailed after scoring three runs in the fourth on a three-run home run by RJ.

From Rags To Riches survived The Undertakers’ surge and put up four runs of its own in the sixth. From Rags To Riches scored on an RBI single by Mattioli, an RBI single by Mattioli, and a three-run home run by Poulin.

From Rags To Riches best Los Juice in shootout, 10-9

Fans were treated to a high-scoring affair Thursday as From Rags To Riches outscored Los Juice 10-9 in seven innings.

Hitters on both sides were strong at the plate as the teams combined for 34 hits, including 13 extra base hits.

The game was back-and-forth heading into the seventh, with eight lead changes.

RJ racked up four RBIs on three hits for From Rags To Riches. He doubled in the first inning, singled in the third inning, and tripled in the seventh inning.

The top of the first saw From Rags To Riches take an early lead, 1-0. After Austin Passy doubled, From Rags To Riches kept the pressure on Los Juice pitching, as RJ doubled, plating Passy.

After posting two runs in the third, From Rags To Riches again scored two in the sixth. In the third, From Rags To Riches scored on an RBI triple by Passy, bringing home Jon Poulin.

From Rags To Riches got one-run rallies in the fourth inning and the fifth. In the fourth, From Rags To Riches scored on an RBI single by Sean Scissors, plating Jaimes Timas.

Los Juice scored three runs of its own in the fourth. Los Juice scored on an RBI single by PlayerQ, a fielder’s choice, and an RBI single by PlayerT.

After a quick strike from From Rags To Riches, Los Juice responded with three runs in the fifth. Los Juice scored on a three-run home run by PlayerO.

Los Juice quickly matched From Rags To Riches’ strong inning with a three-run inning of its own in the sixth. Los Juice scored on an RBI triple by PlayerT and a two-run home run by PlayerK.

The lead stayed with From Rags To Riches after the seventh, when it scored three runs on an RBI single by Jason Gordon and a two-run triple by RJ.
